Andrea Lubin Lactation Consultant

Andrea Lubin, RN, IBCLC
Founder of Burping Babies

Andrea has been a Registered Nurse working with newborns since 2014 and is a recently accredited Internationally Board-Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC).

She graduated USC with a kinesiology and psychology background, then obtained her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from West Coast University. She has worked in the hospital on the Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and NICU floors and won the Daisy Award for excellence in patient care in 2017.

After seeing disparities in care for new mothers and their infants, she founded Burping Babies to help fill the gaps between patient and healthcare management.

When she isn’t working with parent-baby dyads, Andrea enjoys hiking with her dog, playing tennis, and volunteering at her children’s schools.

  • "Andrea Lubin is truly one of a kind. Not only is she extremely knowledgeable, she deeply cares for her patients and their babies. She treats every child she encounters as if they are her own. She is a wealth of knowledge, and her professional expertise has gotten me through many a new mom meltdown. She has put my mind at ease, been understanding and kind, and never holds any judgment.”

  • "Andrea is amazing! She is warm, non-judgmental, and has an effortless sense of humor which immediately makes you feel like you're sitting down to chat with one of your close girlfriends. And this girlfriend has invaluable advice, firsthand experience as a labor & delivery nurse, and knows all the right questions to ask to help guide you."

  • "Burping Babies is an incredible resource! Andrea was not only endlessly patient, but she was also knowledgeable and competent. Most importantly, she was able to explain so much to us in a manner that we could apply and remember for the future."

  • "I was going into my 3rd pregnancy carrying some fear due to traumatic experiences in my first 2 births. [Andrea] helped me figure out exactly what to put into my birth plan and ask for things I didn’t even know to ask for. I am so grateful that I had her in my corner to help guide me and give me advice!"
